2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

• Enquiry & engagement data you provide through our contact form and the “Onboard Us” engagement funnel — such as your name, role, organisation, work email, phone number, country, and the operational details of a prospective mission.
• Due-diligence & KYC data required to verify clients and meet our legal and regulatory obligations before any engagement.
• Technical data strictly necessary to serve and secure this website, and — only with your consent — optional analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. You can accept or decline these and change your choice any time via “Cookie Settings”. We do not use advertising cookies.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and assess the feasibility of an engagement.
• To carry out Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and due-diligence checks.
• To prepare agreements and deliver contracted security services.
• To comply with legal, regulatory, insurance and flag-state requirements.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating a secure and compliant business.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We never sell your personal data. We may share it only where necessary with:

• Vetted personnel and contractors engaged to deliver your operation, under confidentiality obligations.
• Professional advisers, insurers and banking partners.
• Regulators, authorities or flag states where required by law.

6. International transfers

Because our operations span multiple jurisdictions, your data may be processed outside Singapore. Where it is, we apply safeguards consistent with the PDPA to ensure a comparable standard of protection.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal, contractual and insurance record-keeping requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit and operational confidentiality measures appropriate to the sensitive nature of our work. Access to restricted areas such as the Operations Dashboard is protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA). Engagement details are handled on a strict need-to-know basis.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete data we no longer need. To exercise any right, contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@vesseloffshoremanagement.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by the PDPA.
